Our church office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 12 PM.
Sunday Worship Service 11:00 AM
Adult Sunday School classes begin in, September 9:45AM.
Children’s Sunday School is held during our service.

Our Summer Worship Schedule begins the first Sunday in June. Sunday Service will begin at 10:00 AM.
We will return to our Fall Worship Schedule at 11:00AM the first Sunday in September.
Welcome to First Lutheran

This verse evokes powerful memories of Christmas Eve dinners back home as our table would always have an extra setting on this holy night. This German tradition, like many other nations, is to always prepare a setting for the Christ Child should He come and be our guest.
It is with such warmth and such preparation that we open our doors to you here at First Lutheran Church in Washington, PA.
We are affiliated with the North American Lutheran Church (NALC). You will find our church to be grounded in Holy Scriptures, The two Sacraments of the church, the three Creeds and the Lutheran Confessions.
When you arrive our smartly dressed ushers at First Lutheran will welcome you and offer you our Order of Service for the day. If you require extra assistance we can guide you through our Order of Service from hymns to participation in the Lord’s Supper.
As the pastor I take the opportunity to informally speak to members of the congregation whether it is prior to the service, dependent upon the needs of the church and the time before our prelude is played by our music director, or after the service.
We have a guest book and we encourage you to sign as a visitor and be sure to let us know if you would like to call First Lutheran Church your new house of worship: we welcome all.
